This fall, PC’s Multicultural Student Union decided to take part in a service project that would be a blessing for needy children.
MSU teamed up with the Davidson Street Baptist Church of Clinton to help with Operation Christmas Child. The service project began on Oct. 29 and lasted until Nov. 12 – raising $1,037.52 and assembling items for 72 shoeboxes thanks to the support of PC students and the Clinton community.
The endeavor was not only a blessing to the children but also a blessing for the organization, as it learned the value of coming together to help others who are less fortunate.
MSU extended special thanks to Fred’s community store of Clinton for helping us to raise $43.92, Hartness-Thornwell Presbyterian Church for donating $100, Gregory Electric Company of Columbia for donating $300, and SVS for helping raise $395!
