Zeta Tau Alpha's Pink Out 2007 raises over $4300 for breast cancer awareness

ZTA released pink balloons to raise breast cancer awareness before PC’s Nov 3 game versus Chowan. The balloon-launching was part of the Pink Out campaign, annually the sorority's biggest fundraising effort. This year’s campaign, which raised money through a tailgate, t-shirt sales, and donations, was especially successful. ZTA's raised over $4300, more than doubling last year’s mark. All of the proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, ZTA’s philanthropy. Sorority president Amy Bolin was pleased with Pink Out 2007:

"We were amazed at the participation from not only our sorority sisters, but parents, faculty, students, and the Clinton community.  It was wonderful to see our campus come together for such an important and meaningful cause.  I look forward to seeing how large this event will grow in the years to come!"
