Katie Fowler '02 has recently been named editor-in-chief of the law review at the Charleston School of Law. She was elected to the prestigious position by members of the Charleston Law Review, all students at the school.
"It's tremendous," Fowler said. "I look up to everyone on the law review, and they chose me to lead as we meet the challenges of being the only student-run journal. It's a huge honor."
As editor-in-chief, Fowler will oversee all facets of the law review's publication, including interviewing law review members for specific positions, recruiting authors, and making sure goals and deadlines are met. Being named editor-in-chief is one of the highest honors a law student can receive.
Fowler, a political science major while at PC, says that PC put her "on the right track" to achieve success in her chosen field.
"My professors were always fueling my desire to learn more," she said. "Getting a liberal arts education, I always wanted to do my best, learn more, and reach the next level."
