After you have searched for books and articles on your topic you may want to find a few web sites related to your topic.
Google Scholar provides another point of access to
scholarly information paid for by Thomason Library and information that is freely available on the web. Place "quotation marks" around any phrase that you are searching - you will have fewer, more relevant results.
Librarians' Internet Index provides reliable reviewed web sites that are more academically oriented than most information on the web.
Evaluating information is very important if you are using information found on the Internet. You should critically and thoroughly examine any information you plan to use.
See Citing Resources or refer to our citation manuals on the Ready Reference Shelf (RR) at the Reference Desk to correctly cite the sources you have used. The Writing Center will also help you prepare and correct your bibliography.
Thomason Library provides numerous databases to search e-reference books and journal articles.
Please ask a Reference Librarian if you have any questions. We are here to help you find information.
