Master classes, a teacher forum, a student forum, lecture, demonstration, and recitals.
Qualifications for Students
Grades 7-12, with a minimum of four years piano study, and repertoire on an intermediate level.
Repertoire
For Piano Master Classes:
One memorized piano solo at the recital level (total not to exceed 10 minutes).
Master Classes for Students
Students are assigned to specific studios for performances and critiques by PC Faculty. Teachers observe master classes of their choice.
Saturday recital master class with Seymour Fink is by audition. Students must submit a recording by January 15, 2008 to be eligible. Recordings will be returned. Students chosen for this master class must perform the selection submitted on their recording from memory. No substitutions will be allowed. If chosen, students will be notified no later than two weeks prior to the clinic.
Fees
Entire Clinic: Students $40, Teachers and Auditors $30, Parents $15 (per person)
Friday or Saturday Only (Daily Rate): Students $30, Teachers and Auditors $25, Parents $10 (per person)
Additional recital tickets are $10
Due to scheduling, students submitting an application after February 1 can attend the clinic but will not participate in the master classes.
Deadline: No fees refunded after February 1, 2008.
