Tacy Fleury joined the PC music faculty as adjunct instructor of voice in 2006. Prior to moving to South Carolina, Mrs. Fleury served as Professor of Vocal Music at Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem, NC, for six years. There she directed the choirs, instructed group and private voice, and taught conducting, sight-singing, and various other music classes. A native of Kansas, Mrs. Fleury received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and her Bachelor of Music Education from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. She then received her master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she studied with notable teachers Barbara Honn and George Gibson. Mrs. Fleury has performed opera roles at the University level and with Opera Kansas, and served as soprano soloist at First Presbyterian Church in Winston-Salem. She has been heard in solo performance with the Piedmont Chamber Singers, the Greenwood Chorale, and in various faculty recitals and performances at Piedmont Baptist College and Presbyterian College.
