The International Student Identification Card (ISIC) Go to MyISIC.com

International ID Cards are available for $22 and offer:

Low Airfares
Many international airlines offer special fares exclusively to holders of the International Student Identity Card (ISIC). The special student fares can be booked at any Council Travel shop, or at many student travel organizations worldwide.

National Discounts
With the ISIC, you'll have access to discounts and savings all of the United States including, hotels, amusement parks, rental cars, ski resorts, retail shops and more! Details are included in the handbook distributed with each card.

Worldwide Discounts
ISIC is the world's most widely accepted card for reduced entrance fees at museums and theaters, special rail or bus passes and discounts at hotels and shops.

ISIConnect
ISIConnect is a ready-made communications solution that offers discount phone rates world wide, voice and fax mail, messaging, and FREE web based e-mail to ISIC holders. To use the ISIConnect services ISIC holders will first need to purchase "call time" by putting value onto the ISIC. The minimum first time activation amount is $20. Also, when an ISIConnect account is activated you will automatically get a $5 bonus. ISIConnect eliminates the need to buy a separate telephone calling card - your ISIC number serves as the ISIConnect account number. (Cardholders must select a 4-digit PIN when they activate the card)

Accident & Sickness Insurance
The ISIC (purchased in the U.S.) provides basic accident and sickness insurance for travel outside of the U.S., including hospital stays, accident medical expense, emergency evacuation, accidental death and dismemberment, repatriation of remains, passport protection and baggage delay insurance.

A 24-hour, toll-free Help-Line
While you are traveling, the Help Line can provide a range of emergency medical, legal, and financial services, including locating an appropriate doctor or lawyer, replacing lost or stolen documents, and arranging travel in the event of an emergency. Information on the Help-Line is included in the handbook distributed with each card.
