Academic Requirements
- The equivalent of four years of high school or secondary school work in English or the language of instruction (including literature, grammar, and composition courses)
- Three years of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, and advanced algebra
- Two years of a laboratory science (biology, chemistry, or physics)
- Two years of social science (history, government, economics, psychology, or sociology)
- Two years of a foreign language
- The average GPA for freshman was a 3.41 on a 4.0 scale
- The average SAT score ranged between an 1040 and 1240 or an ACT of 24-28
Language Requirements
Although alternative English language proficiency measurements may be considered for conditional admission, the TOEFL exam is preferred. Applicants should score a 550 or better on the paper-based test or a 213 on the computer based test. Applicants from countries where English is the native language are exempt from this requirement.
Your Completed Application should consist of:
- Completed International Student Application form
- Application Essay
- School Report and Recommendation form
- Official high school transcripts with official translation not in English.
- Official copy of ACT or SAT test scores
- Financial Statement for International Students Form with supporting documentation.
- Official TOEFL score (if required)
REGULAR ADMISSION
PC accepts applications at any time during your senior year, and because we review applications on a rolling basis, there is no closing date for application submission. If you are interested in being considered for an academic scholarship, you must apply by December 5.
EARLY DECISION
PC offers an Early Decision application option for students for whom PC is clearly their first-choice college. Students must complete their application file by December 5. Students admitted to PC under the Early Decision plan agree to enroll at PC and withdraw all applications for admission to other institutions. Early Decision students can receive an estimated financial aid package and must submit the non-refundable $300 registration deposit by January 31.
