*Early Decision (binding) is for students who know PC is their top college choice.  If applicant is accepted, he/she agrees to withdraw all other applications and commit to attend PC by submitting the $400 non-refundable deposit by January 15.

**Early Action (non-binding) is for students who have PC as one of their top college choices. This option allows students to receive an admission decision early without the obligation to commit early. A non-refundable $400 advance deposit will be due by May 1.


Entrance Requirements

High School Courses
Presbyterian College ordinarily requires the completion of a four-year high school course of study, which includes the following courses:

4 units of English
4 units of Math
2 or more units of the same Foreign Language
2 or more units of Laboratory Science
3 or more units of History and/or Social Sciences

(additional units in the last three categories are encouraged)

Note:  Applicants are strongly encouraged to take honors,

Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses whenever possible.

High School GPA
We recalculate your GPA on a 4.0 scale
based on performance in core academic subjects.

Standardized Test Scores

       Official scores are required. You may submit SAT or ACT scores or scores from both tests. If they are printed on your official high school transcript, you will not be required to have them sent directly from the testing service.

Admissions Decisions

        The Admissions Committee considers all application materials submitted by the applicant.  Academic rigor of the high school curriculum, performance in those courses, test scores, rank in class, student essays and short answers, student activities, and counselor and teacher recommendations are all considered when making admissions decisions.
