parker moore photoI’m Parker Moore, and I’m the Assistant Director of Admissions here at Presbyterian College. I graduated in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration from PC, and as you can tell, I couldn’t get enough of this place.

Here at PC, we focus on whole-person education; you will find it very easy to explore many of your interest all at the same time. I was fortunate enough to be involved in many organizations during my four years here. I participated in Cross Country, Greek Life, Student Union Board, Stirlings, Student Government, Big Brother, and a few others. With academics as my primary concentration, I was still able to embrace and accomplish all the goals I set for myself in college.

Our close knit community and the relationships between professors and students are what truly make Presbyterian College so unique. We have a 13:1 student/teacher ratio, which makes it simple for your professor to become a part of your education unlike any other academic experience you will find. Over 98% of students live on campus making PC much more than a school, rather a home away from home.

I look forward to visiting with you at your high schools, college fairs, or other events in your area so that I can share with you more facts about PC and the wonderful experiences I had here. However, hearing it just from me does not fully embody what this school has to provide. I strongly urge you to visit our campus and get a firsthand experience at what we have to offer!

Choosing the right college can be a very difficult decision. As your Admissions Counselor, I will assist you in exploring all the opportunities you’ll have at PC. Together we will find the perfect fit for you.

Application Process
Here's where it all starts!
Early Decision Option

If you know PC is your first choice, take advantage of our Early Decision Option and complete your application file by November 1. You'll know our decision early. If you're admitted, you'll be able to relax and focus on other things, like finding scholarships and keeping up with your high school courses.

This option is a binding agreement. As an Early Decision student, you agree to enroll at PC and withdraw all applications for admission to other institutions if you're admitted to PC under the Early Decision plan. (If you're not admitted under the Early Decision plan, you will still be considered for regular admission to PC and may continue to apply elsewhere.)

Once you're accepted as an Early Decision student, you'll receive an estimated financial aid package by January 15. (For this reason, Early Decision is not recommended if you or your family want to compare financial aid options at multiple institutions before deciding which college you will attend.)

The deadline for submitting the non-refundable $400 registration deposit for Early Decision is January 15.

I'm a friend for life.

Relationships are very important part of your time at college. At PC you can expect close relationships in and out of the classroom. You'll also develop deep, meaningful relationships with other students because the atmosphere creates a sense of intimacy, whether it’s in classes, organizations or in your residence hall.
