"I learned early in school to take pride in my studies and embraced the challenge that PC gave me," said senior Derek Brown.

The psychology major and linebacker on the football team has met with success in the classroom and on the field. Derek is a member of Psi Chi, the psychology honors society, and was voted All-Conference during his senior year.

Derek's professors take the same approach to teaching that he takes to meeting challenges.

"My professors take pride in their work and enjoy the topics they teach," he said. "The passion that they have for their field is evident in how they teach, and it excites me to want to learn. All of my professors have been personable, easy to communicate with, and ready to help if needed."
