Job Description: The worker is primarily responsible for the physical processing of newly cataloged library material (books, CD’s, DVD’s). Duties will include creating and affixing item labels and adhesive covers carefully and with close attention to detail, adding security strips, and attaching cover information when necessary. Secondary duties include labeling, filing, and shelving of special collections materials; photocopying and maintaining the clippings file; assisting with exhibits; and other duties as assigned.
Requirements: The worker must be dependable and self-motivated with an interest in detail-oriented work with historical documents, books, maps, and artifacts. The job requires more computer skills than word processing. The applicant must be able to lift cartons weighing up to 40lbs.

Job Description: This student will provide coverage at the School of Pharmacy reception desk in the main lobby during lunch on a daily basis. Duties include answering the phone and directing callers as appropriate; greeting visitors and directing them to the proper location; performing minor administrative tasks such as making copies, assisting with simple outgoing mail issues, and accepting incoming packages from UPS, FedEx, and other carriers; and performing other duties as requested.
Requirements: This position is for approximately 5-7 hours/week and will start at the beginning of each fall/spring semester. The student worker will normally be expected to be on duty for at least 1 hour each day from approximately 12:00-1:00 p.m. with the exact time to be coordinated with the full-time receptionist based on that receptionist’s lunch schedule as well as the student’s class schedule. If the student and funds are available, other times might be possible, based on events at the School and/or the receptionist’s schedule.

Job Description: The job requires an interested student who will assist in a variety of creative and technical tasks involving the creation of media content used at the School of Pharmacy. The idea candidate will be comfortable around computers and media-related equipment, be a competent writer and be familiar with Photoshop; the worker will help with the creation of technology training videos and public service videos, as well as some website content creation. The worker will be a self-starter who possesses strong writing and proofreading skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Experience for photography and cinematography is a plus. The work schedule will be flexible within the pharmacy school’s Monday through Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM workday. There may be times that there will be evening or weekend hours, but those will be discussed in advance, and hours adjusted accordingly. The anticipated workload will be 5-10 hours per week and will start at the beginning of each fall/spring semester. This position would run all year.

The Pondo Shuttle runs almost every Friday and Saturday night between Fraternity Court/Stadium area and Community Halls. Drivers and assistants provide a safe, enjoyable ride for all students. Some additional nights of special events may be included during the semester.
