Alumni Board

All degree and honorary degree recipients and former students who have attended Presbyterian College for at least one year are members of the Alumni Association. There are no assessed dues, but each member of the Association is encouraged to contribute to the PC Fund. Alumni participation in this program has been cited nationally by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

The purpose of the Presbyterian College Alumni Association is to:
(1) stimulate a permanent and intelligent interest on the part of all alumni of the College;

(2) perpetuate the friendships formed in college years; and

(3) promote the cause of Christian higher education.

Each year the College presents the Alumni Gold P Award to a former student for outstanding accomplishments in his/her chosen profession and also presents an Outstanding Young Alumnus/na Award. An annual Mary F. Lehman Alumni Service Award recognizes superlative service to PC. Established in 1994, the Dum Vivimus Servimus Award recognizes an alumna/alumnus who exemplifies the meaning of the college motto "While We Live, We Serve" in volunteer service apart from employment or profession. The alumni assist with student recruitment and provide Alumni Scholarships and other types of financial
support.

The work of the organization is carried on through the Office of Alumni Relations, headed by the Executive Director of Alumni and Community Relations who is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association. This office maintains alumni records, coordinates local chapter activities, advises the Student Alumni Council, and sponsors the annual homecoming on campus.
