PC has hosted alumni gatherings in different cities over the years ranging from casual, small affairs to large, elaborate functions. While we believe these social events have been successful in bringing alumni together for fun and fellowship and for spreading news of the campus, we realized that alumni want to stay connected on a regular basis. With the support of Presbyterian College, our Atlanta alumni have started a new chapter. Monthly meeting will alternate each quarter offering social receptions, networking and internship opportunities, group service activities, and family-friendly events.
Our alumni chapters will represent the PC Spirit.
Each chapter will provide opportunities for reconnecting with old friends, making new friends, and welcoming newcomers into your area - as an extension of the PC Family.
As you know, connections between potential business partners are not always possible during social events. Our alumni chapters will offer networking opportunities simplified by the connection of alumni to the college and therefore to each other.
We plan to invite current students to join us occasionally in order to share the excitement of campus activities. Our student-guests will be looking for internship opportunities and for mentors in their special fields of interest. Your interaction with students may help open doors to their futures.
We plan to launch four more new chapters in other major cities this fiscal year. Because these events are alumni focused, they will provide an opportunity for each person to live by PC's motto, Dum Vivimus Servimus, by offering service activities within the local community. Spouses, family members and special friends will be welcome to join in the activities.
