Faculty

Ralph Paquin, department chairman and associate professor of art, received his MFA from Cranbrook, and teaches ceramics, sculpture, drawing, and advanced junior and senior seminars. He exhibits internationally and has earned favorable critical acclaim from New York art critic Donald Kuspit in lectures on contemporary ceramic sculpture. His list of exhibits includes MIT and the Artists Space in New York City. He loves music and cycling, and you can see some of his work at (link).

Mark Anderson received his MFA from UT Knoxville and teaches all levels of painting, drawing, Media and Society, art appreciation, art history, and advanced junior and senior seminars. He has exhibited his works at the Las Vegas Museum of Art as well as in galleries and museums throughout the region. His work has received favorable mention in the New Art Examiner where he is described as a painter of international importance.

Dr. Laura Crary earned her Ph D from the University of Pittsburgh and teaches art history survey, Renaissance art, Baroque and Romantic art, Modern art, women in art, contemporary art theory and criticism, and Latin American art history. She has presented papers and chaired symposia at the CAA annual conference.
