Art

Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life - Pablo Picasso

professor and student artFrom your earliest days you have had art in your blood. The drawings on the family refrigerator, the clay pot you threw in camp, the sculpture you made from parts of an old bicycle and a skateboard - all are ways you have communicated with the rest of the world.

The doors open to a liberal arts degree open even further if the owner has studied art. Art is a part of who we are, of all that is around us, of the human spirit. It teaches us how to show others what we see.

Students who have majored and minored in art at PC go on to graduate work at some of the best graduate schools and art institutes in the world. They pursue careers in teaching, graphic design, art auctioning, historic preservation, and other fields such as well as architecture, medicine, and law.

By studying art at PC you will see the world with different eyes. Through your art work others will as well.
