he did not commit an error in 18 chances ...
followed up with a solid sophomore campaign which
saw him hit .316 through 26 games, steal 6-8 bases,
and field at a .939 clip before going down with
injury midway through the season ... played at
Riverside High School ... son of Voit and Patsy
