PRESBYTERIAN’S WARREN  & WHITE NAMED TO FOOD LION/SOUTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM

CLINTON, S.C. — Presbyterian College baseball players Matt Warren (Lexington, S.C.) and Kevin White (Spartanburg, S.C.) have been named to the 2002 Food Lion/South Atlantic Conference All-Tournament team announced today by league officials.

Warren, a 6-2, 222-pound junior first baseman, hit .500 with one homerun, four runs scored, three RBI and eight total bases for the Blue Hose in two tournament games. In addition, the second team All-SAC selection posted a 1.000 slugging percentage, a .556 on-base percentage, and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
White, a 6-2, 180-pound sophomore outfielder, hit .375 with three homeruns, six RBI, and 12 total bases for the Blue Hose. In addition, the first team All-SAC selection posted a 1.500 slugging percentage, a .444 on-base percentage, and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
