WIN OVER PRESBYTERIAN

Wingate, N.C.--Wingate University senior outfielder Chris Torres (Charlotte, N.C.) made sure his final weekend performance at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field would be a memorable one, going three-for-five with two doubles, one home run and three RBI as the Bulldogs defeated Presbyterian College 11-2 in South Atlantic Conference baseball action this afternoon.

Wingate wins the SAC series between the two schools two games to one, improving its record to 21-17-1 overall (8-7 SAC). Presbyterian falls to 18-23 overall (7-8 SAC).
