BLUE HOSE SPLIT FIRST TWO GAMES OF UNIVERSITY OF NORTH FLORIDA PEACH BELT CHALLENGE

Clinton, SC - Presbyterian started off slowly in their first game of the season and fell to Nova Southeastern 8-5, but the Blue Hose quickly rebounded on the second day of the tournament and defeated Florida Tech 8-4.

Presbyterian vs. Nova Southeastern

Senior second baseman Tombo Hite (Abbeville, SC) led the charge for the Blue Hose with three RBI's and junior outfielder Kevin White (Spartanburg, SC) added two hits but it was not enough to hold off Nova Southeastern.  The Knights scored four runs in the fourth inning to take a 5-0 lead.  PC made a charge in the ninth inning scoring three runs off of two hits and a couple of free passes but fell short to loose the game 5-8.
