BLUE
HOSE BASEBALL STAYS AT #3 IN NCAA SOUTH REGION POLL
CLINTON, S.C. –
Presbyterian College remained ranked third in this week’s
NCAA Division II South Region Poll.
The Blue Hose still await this weekend’s announcement
of the NCAA Tournament field as they gear up for a post-season
bid.
The
top four teams in the region at the end of the season will
advance to the NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament with
regional play beginning May 15.
PC
finished the regular season with a 27-24 record, capped off
with a sweep in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament and
their first outright tournament championship.
Florida
Southern moved into the top spot with a couple of wins this
past week while The University of Tampa dropped one spot to
number two in the region.
Nova Southeastern jumped back into post-season
contention and is behind PC in the fourth spot.
SAC member Tusculum College dropped to number five with
Lynn University rounding out the top six teams.
NCAA
Tournament bids will be released this weekend.
