RAIN RESCHEDULES BASEBALL VENUE AT NEWBERRY
NEWBERRY, S.C. – As it has done all season, the weather ruled the day with the venues at the Food Lion / South Atlantic Conference Spring Sports Festival. With tennis already cancelled for the weekend and softball postponed for today, baseball will be the only show in town once golf ends in Laurens.
The morning schedule has been altered with the hopes that only one game would need to be moved to Saturday. A pair of games scheduled for Newberry High School have been moved and Presbyterian College will host a pair of games in order to keep the tournament on pace to finish by Sunday.

3:45 p.m. (at Newberry College): #5 Catawba vs. #1
Carson-Newman
3:45 p.m. (at Presbyterian College): #3 Presbyterian vs. #2
Wingate
The winner of the Newberry/L-R contest will play the loser of the C-N/Catawba game at 8:15 at Newberry College Friday night.
