BLUE HOSE FALL 6-1 TO #18 LYNN UNIVERSITY

LAKELAND, FL - Presbyterian College dropped its second straight game in the Lakeland Electric Spring Baseball Classic at Florida Southern, falling to #18 Lynn University 6-1 Saturday afternoon. 

Lynn's Carlos Portilla broke a 1-1 tie with a two-out, RBI-single in the fifth, then hit a two-run homer in the seventh.  Travis Osborn pitched a complete game for Lynn for his fourth win without a loss this season.  He struck out seven and walked just two. 

Presbyterian's only run came in the third, when Heath McCutcheon doubled with one out and came around to score on Matt Bodie's two-out bunt single.  Travis Hill pitched the first six-and-two-thirds innings and took the loss.

Presbyterian finishes its three-game set in the Lakeland Electric Spring Classic Sunday at 10 a.m. against #17 Valdosta State University.
