PC Football Fan Day Set For Saturday, August 18
Presbyterian College will hold their 2007 Blue Hose Football
Fan Day at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18 at Bailey Memorial
Stadium. The entire football team and coaching staff will be
on hand to sign autographs and take pictures.
The
event is free and open to the public. Gates open at 12:30
p.m.
The
2007 PC Football Fan Day will give Blue Hose fans the
opportunity to obtain their 2007 schedule posters and pick
up their PC schedule cards. PC fans will also be able to
acquire Blue Hose apparel at the event and obtain their
season tickets for PC’s three home games.
Food
and drinks will be available for purchase at the fan day and
there will be many different events available for the young
Blue Hose fans, beginning with a cheerleading clinic given
by PC spirit coordinator Laurie Addison at 9 a.m.
There
will also be a limited number of t-shirts given away
compliments of Sodexho.
Directly following the Fan Day there will be an intrasquad
scrimmage set to begin at approximately 2:30 p.m. The
scrimmage will give Blue Hose fans the chance to see their
inaugural NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision
team in action for the first time during a fall campaign
under the watch of Bobby Bentley and his new coaching staff.
Presbyterian College opens its 2007 season against Furman
University at Paladin Stadium at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept.
1.
The game will be televised throughout the southeast and will
be broadcast locally in the Upstate on WHNS (Ch. 21) and
simulcast around the Southeast on Comcast/Charter Sports
Southeast (CSS, Ch. 58 on Charter cable).
