PC Football To Open
Spring Season On Tuesday
CLINTON, S.C. –
Presbyterian College’s football team will open its first
spring season under the direction of new football coach
Bobby Bentley at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 20.
The Blue Hose
will practice 14 times over the next three weeks before
ending their spring season with the annual spring football
game at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14.
The new coaching
staff is excited about finally being able to work with the
student-athletes and facing the challenges that are in front
of the program.
“I am looking
forward to seeing how the players respond to the new
system,” remarked Bentley. “The coaching staff is
enthusiastic about installing a new offensive and defensive
scheme.”
Presbyterian
opens its 2007 season on the road against Upstate rival
Furman University at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1. The Blue
Hose will then welcome Pikeville College to Bailey Memorial
Stadium at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8 for their first
home game under Bentley’s guidance.
