CLINTON,
S.C. — Presbyterian College volunteer assistant men’s
basketball coach Nathan
Livesay has accepted the head boys basketball coaching
position at Sumter High School in Sumter, S.C. announced
today.
Livesay, a native of
Kingsport, TN, just finished his first season with the Blue
Hose men’s basketball program and helped the team compile a
27-9 overall record and advance to the “Sweet 16” of the
NCAA Division II National Tournament.
“We are very happy and at
the same time sorry to see Nathan leave,” said Blue Hose
head coach Gregg Nibert. “He was a tremendous addition to our coaching staff
this year and played a key role in the team’s success. We
wish him all the best in his new position.”
Prior to working with the

“I consider myself very
fortunate to have had the opportunity to work at a great
school like PC during such a tremendous season,” said
Livesay. “Working for a great coach like Gregg Nibert was an
invaluable learning experience and I feel that the knowledge
and experience I have gained here has left me well prepared
for my next challenge.”
