PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE MEN’S BASKETBALL WILL PLAY
TOP SEED COLUMBUS STATE AT 8:30 PM ON FRIDAY

CLINTON, S.C. — The Presbyterian College men’s basketball team will play the top seed, Columbus State University Cougars on Friday, March 14 at 8:30 pm as the game times were announced today by tournament officials.

The tournament will open on Friday with #2 Bowie State University vs. #7 Lenoir-Rhyne College at 12:00 noon. #3 Kennesaw State University will play #6 Virginia Union University at 2:30 pm. In the night session, #4 Johnson 
C. Smith University will take on #5 Shaw University at 6:00 pm followed by the night cap of the Blue Hose and the Cougars. Semifinal games will be played on Saturday at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm while the championship game will take place on Monday, March 17 at 7:00 pm.

Presbyterian College (25-8) will be the #8 seed in the South Atlantic Regional Tournament taking place March 14, 15, 17 in Columbus, Georgia. The Columbus State University Cougars (27-4) will serve as the host institution for the regional tournament and is the top seed. This will be the first meeting between the two schools. The Blue Hose will be making their third NCAA postseason appearance since 1997. Presbyterian advanced to NCAA postseason play on two previous occasions, 1995-96 and 1996-97.
