BLUE HOSE MEN’S BASKETBALL RECEIVED VOTES
FOR NABC/DIVISION II
BULLETIN TOP 25 POLL
BEAVERTON,
OR — The Presbyterian College men’s basketball team
returned to the NABC/Division II Bulletin Top 25 this
week as they received votes in the latest poll announced
today.
The Blue Hose (20-4), off
to their best start since the 1992-93 season, are riding
a six-game win streak after defeating Tusculum College
52-43 on the road last Saturday. The Blue Hose return to
action on Wednesday, February 12 as they travel to
Wingate, N.C. to take on SAC-rival Wingate University at
8:00 pm.
Michigan Tech, 22-1, moves
into the No. 1 spot in this week's NABC/Division II
Bulletin Top 25. The Huskies are the fourth team to hold
the top spot this season. Former No. 1 Tarleton State
(19-2) drops to No. 5 following its loss to No. 8
Northeastern State on Saturday night. Nebraska Kearny,
20-0, is still the lone remaining unbeaten Division II
team and moved to No. 2. It was a good week for most
teams, as just five were defeated. The next Top 25 will
be Feb. 18, 2003.
