MEN’S BASKETBALL RANKED 4TH IN FIRST REGION
POLL OF THE SEASON
CLINTON,
S.C. – The
Presbyterian College men’s basketball team is ranked 4th
overall in the NCAA Division II South Atlantic Region.
The poll is compiled by the NCAA Division II
Men’s Basketball Committee and was announced
Wednesday.
The
Blue Hose are off to their best start since the 1992-93
season with their 10-2 mark.
The Blue Hose are coming off a 53-47 win over
Armstrong Atlantic University this past Saturday.
PC has a five game winning streak going back to
their 66-49 win over Benedict College on December 3.
One of the Blue Hose only two losses came against
Shaw University 63-59. The Bears are the 2nd
ranked team in the South Atlantic Region and the 10th
ranked team in the country.
PC
is back on the hardwoods this Saturday night to face off
against North Greenville College at home in Templeton
Arena with the tip-off at 7:00 p.m.
