HOSE BASKETBALL LISTED AMONG NCAA LEADERS CLINTON,
S.C. — Presbyterian
College men’s and women’s basketball teams are
listed among the NCAA Division II leaders in the latest
statistics announced this week. The
men’s basketball team (12-2) led by 14th-year head
coach Gregg
Nibert, is fourth in the nation in scoring defense
(56.4 pts/gm), 30th in field goal percentage defense
(39.7%), and 30th in team free throw percentage (74.1%). The
women’s basketball team (4-7), led by 1st-year head
coach Leigh Irwin,
is 18th in the nation in team free throw percentage
(75.5%). |
