BLUE HOSE BASKETBALL LISTED AMONG NCAA LEADERS
PC’s Haskins ranked 16th in the nation in 3-Point FG% 

CLINTON, S.C. — Presbyterian College basketball teams is listed among the NCAA Division II leaders in the latest statistics announced this week. 

The men’s basketball team (16-4, 3-2 SAC) led by 14th-year head coach Gregg Nibert, moved up two spots to third in the nation in scoring defense (56.8 pts/gm) and up five spots to 22nd in field goal percentage defense (40.1%).

On the women’s basketball team (6-10, 2-3  SAC), junior guard Billie Haskins (Greensboro, Ga.) is 16th in the nation in three-point field goal percentage (42.9%). Haskins recently scored a career-high 27 points in six-of-11 three-point field goals in PC’s 81-78 loss to Mars Hill College last Wednesday.  

The Blue Hose men’s and women’s basketball teams return to action this Wednesday, January 29 as they host the Catawba College Indians. The women’s game is set to tip-off at 6:00 pm with the men’s game to start approximately at 8:00 pm.
