KISCADEN
SIGNS WITH BLUE HOSE MEN’S BASKETBALL PROGRAM
CLINTON,
S.C. — Patrick Kiscaden has signed a
national letter of intent to play basketball at Presbyterian
College announced today by head coach Gregg
Nibert.
Kiscaden, a 6-2, 175-pound
combo guard from Oviedo, Fla. currently plays for Oviedo High
School and head coach Ed
Kershner. He averaged 18.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0
assists while shooting 51.0% from the field and 79.0% from the
free throw line en route to first team All-State and All-Area
honors as a senior.
He was named to the
all-conference team as a junior and a senior while also being
named to the 2003 Great Florida Shootout All-Tournament team.
During his junior and senior seasons, Kiscaden helped lead
Oviedo High School to a two-year mark of 46-9 including a 20-5
record this past season.
Kiscaden will be reunited
with former high school teammate, Grant
Herren, who is currently enjoying his freshman year at PC
where he earned South Atlantic Conference All-Freshmen team
honors.
“We are very excited to
get another player out of Coach Kershner’s program down at
Oveido High School,” said Nibert. “Pat has the ability to
play either guard position which gives us the flexibility we
desire in the backcourt. He will be a great addition to the
Presbyterian College family for years to come.”
Presbyterian College
compiled a 16-12 overall record this past season including a
7-7 ledger in the South Atlantic Conference, good for a fifth
place finish.
Kiscaden becomes the first
signee for the Blue Hose men’s basketball program this
season.
