BLUE HOSE
ROLL PAST PATRIOTS 83-64
CLINTON,
S.C. — Presbyterian College freshman guard Pat
Kiscaden (Oviedo, FL) led five Blue Hose in double
figures with a career-high 27 points in en route to a 83-64
victory over Francis Marion University in men’s college
basketball action Monday night at the Ross E. Templeton
Center.

The Blue
Hose took an early 21-8 lead at the 13:35 mark fueled a pair
of three-pointers from Kiscaden and backcourt mate, sophomore
guard Sean
Dixon (Marietta, GA). The Patriots trimmed the lead to nine points at
23-14 with 11:52 remaining on a three-pointer by senior
forward Louis
McCullough (Goose Creek, SC) that capped a 6-2 run. PC
responded by pushing the lead back to double figures in the
final 10 minutes of the half and led by 16 points at 50-34
entering halftime.
The Blue
Hose shot 56.7% from the field in the first half including
10-of-17 from beyond the arc while holding the Patriots to
44.0% from the floor.

In the
second half, PC increased the lead to as many as 26 points at
80-54 with 5:29 remaining in the game on a pair of free throws
by freshman forward Drew
Biggs
(Alpharetta, GA). Francis Marion would not get any closer
down the stretch.

The Blue
Hose hit 14-of-24 three-point field goals for the game with
Kiscaden leading the way with a six-of-10 performance from
beyond the arc. Joining Kiscaden for scoring honors was Dixon
who added 16 points and six assists while Biggs chipped in 11
points coming off the bench. Junior forward
Tray Ballenger (Wellford, SC) and junior center
Johann Collins (Raleigh,
NC) rounded out the double figure scorers for PC with 10
points apiece.

Francis
Marion was led by senior guard Andrew
Snipe (Mt. Pleasant, SC) who tallied 11 points and five
boards while McCullough and junior guard Vony
Rivers (Burton, SC) each added 10 points apiece.
PC improves
to 7-3 on the season while Francis Marion falls to 4-2 on the
season.
