BLUE
HOSE BASKETBALL LISTED AMONG
NCAA STATISTICAL LEADERS
CLINTON,
S.C. — Presbyterian College men’s and women’s
basketball teams are listed among the NCAA Division II leaders
in the latest statistics announced this week.
The
men’s basketball team (8-4) led by 16th-year head coach Gregg Nibert, is 22nd in the nation in field goal percentage defense
(39.7%), and 48th in rebound margin (+4.8 rpg). The
Blue Hose lead the South Atlantic Conference all three
categories.
The
women’s basketball team (2-10), led by 1st-year head coach Jessica Vanco, is 14th in the nation in three-point field
goal percentage (37.6%), and 48th in three-point
field goals made per game (6.1).
The
PC men’s and women’s basketball teams will resume South
Atlantic Conference play Wednesday night at they travel to
Newberry College for a 6 and 8p.m. doubleheader. The Blue Hose
will return home Saturday afternoon as they host Lenoir-Rhyne
College in a 2 and 4 p.m. doubleheader.
