CLINTON, S.C. — The Presbyterian College men’s and women’s basketball programs, in conjunction with the PC Student Affairs Department and Greek Life, will host Midnight Madness 2004 on Thursday night, October 14 at the Ross E. Templeton Center.

Midnight Madness officially opens the 2004-05 preseason practice schedule for both basketball programs. Doors will open around 10:15 pm and all events are open to the public. The first 300 fans through the door will receive a free basketball T-Shirt. The PC Cheerleaders will perform as well as the completion of a 3-on-3 Tournament, student relay and games leading up to the introduction of both program’s coaches and players.

Members of both programs will compete in a three-point shooting competition and will then take the floor at the strike of midnight as official practice begins.

Dempsey’s Pizza of Clinton, SC will provide free pizza for everyone in attendance and the event will end with one lucky fan getting a chance to shoot for $5,000 in the Barnes Insurance $5,000 Shootout.

Both basketball teams will hold their first official practices on Friday away from campus due to the school hosting the Lady Blue Hose Volleyball Tournament over the weekend. The men’s program will practice at Laurens District 55 High School on Friday afternoon while the women’s program will practice at the Clinton YMCA.
