BOSTIC
SIGNS WITH PRESBYTERIAN MEN’S BASKETBALL
CLINTON,
S.C. – Bryan Bostic has signed a national letter
of intent to play men’s basketball at Presbyterian College
it was announced today by head coach Gregg Nibert.
Bostic, a
6-4 wing, from Norcross, GA, currently attends Norcross High
School where he plays for head coach Eddie Martin. As a
senior, he averaged 15 ppg, 6 rpg, 2.5 apg, and 2 spg, while
helping Norcross High to a 31-1 record and a Georgia 5A State
Runner-up finish. Bostic, was named to the Gwinnett County Tip
Off Team for December and was a member of the Gwinnett County
Tip Off Team of the Year.
“We are
very excited to sign a player from Coach Eddie Martin’s
program at Norcross High School,” Nibert said. “Bryan has
been a part of 58 wins over the past two years and he
doesn’t like to lose. He is a versatile athlete who can both
score and defend, and we look for Bryan to contribute
immediately as a freshman. How hard he works over the summer
will be critical for our team’s success next season.”
Bostic
becomes the second player to sign with the Blue Hose.
Presbyterian College is coming off an 18-11 campaign in
2004-05 that included a tie for third place in the South
Atlantic Conference with an 8-6 league mark and was a
semifinalist for the 2005 Food Lion/SAC Tournament title. The
Blue Hose finished in the top half of the SAC standings for
the 13th time in the 16-year history that that SAC
sponsored men’s basketball.
