CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS NAMED TO DIVISION II CROSS COUNTRY COACHES
ASSOCIATION ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM CLINTON,
S.C. — Presbyterian College men’s and women’s cross
country teams have been named to the Division II Cross Country
Coaches Association’s All-Academic Team announced today. The Academic Team award is
given to cross country teams that have achieved a team GPA of
3.00 or better. Individuals are also selected who have posted a
3.2 GPA or better. The Presbyterian College
men’s cross country team posted a team GPA of 3.13 this past
fall. Individually, three runners were named to the Individual
Academic Team. Leading the way for the Blue Hose was sophomore
runner Ryan
Nobles. Nobles, a native of Laurens, S.C., posted a
perfect 4.00 GPA this past fall. Joining Nobles on the team was
junior Drew Brannon (Knoxville, Tenn.) with a
3.70 GPA and senior Thomas
German (Concord, N.C.) who had a 3.51 GPA. Presbyterian was one of
three men’s teams from the South Atlantic Conference to earn
this award. Tusculum College and Wingate University were also
named to the men’s team. The cross country teams are
under the direction of second-year head coach Mike
Rosolino. |
