PRESBYTERIAN CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES FOURTH AT ERSKINE

DUE WEST, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s and women’s cross country teams both finished in fourth place in the Erskine Invitational held Thursday.

On the women’s side, PC finished behind Wingate University, Anderson College, and Lander University. The Lady Blue Hose were led by senior Helen Fout (Myrtle Beach, S.C.), who finished with a time of 21:19, good for a 13th place finish.

The PC men’s team also finished in fourth behind Wingate University, Anderson College, and North Georgia College and State University.

The Blue Hose were led by sophomore Matthew Elliott (Green Sea, S.C.), who finished in sixth place with a time of 28:17. Sophomore Nate Price also turned in a top 20 finish as he came in 12th with a time of 28:50.

PC will be back in action Saturday as they take part in the South Atlantic Conference Championships in Jefferson City, Tenn.
