HOSE FINISH SIXTH AT WINTHROP INVITATIONAL ROCK HILL,
S.C. The Presbyterian College mens cross country team
finished sixth in the Asics/Winthrop University Invitational
Saturday morning. Virginia
Intermont College won the event with a total of 17 points, 52
points ahead of second place finisher Shawnee State University. Sophomore Matthew
Elliott (Green Sea, S.C.) led the way for the Blue Hose
as he finished with a time of 28:17, good for a 26th
place finish. Sophomore Nate
Price (Atlanta, Ga.) finished 38th (29:01)
and freshman Brandon
Galloway finished 42nd (29:08) to pace the
Blue Hose. PC will be
back in action next Saturday as they take part in the
