MORRISETTE SIGNS WITH BLUE HOSE CROSS COUNTRY

CLINTON, SC — Matt Morrisette has signed to run cross county at Presbyterian College announced today by head coach Stephanie Allen.

Morrisette, a 5-10, 155-pound senior currently attends First Baptist School in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. where he runs for head coach Harry Davakos.

Morrisette, a four-sport high school standout, earned all-region honors in cross country three times, track once while also being named all-region in basketball while participating in the North-South All-Star Game. In the classroom, he has been selected on the National Honor Society and was president of the Foreign Language Club.

“We look forward to Matthew joining us in the fall,” said Allen. “Not only is he a good athlete, but a great student as well. I feel that Matthew will respond adequately to the increased race distance at the college level and will be a great strength for the men’s team.”
