HOSE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES SPARTANBURG,
S.C. – The
Presbyterian College men’s cross country team opened their
season this past Saturday with a ninth place finish at the
Spartanburg Eye Opener Cross Country Invitational. South Atlantic Conference rival Mars Hill
College placed first in the race, followed by Wingate
University. Leading the way for PC was junior Matthew Elliott (Green
Sea, S.C.) who finished in 16th place. Next to finish
for the Blue Hose was senior Nicholas
Williams
(Greenwood, S.C.) who finished in 62nd place. The Blue Hose will next compete in the
Lander University/Connie Maxwell Invitational next Saturday
morning in Greenwood, S.C.
