BLUE HOSE CROSS COUNTRY SET TO OPEN 
2005 SEASON ON SATURDAY

CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s and women’s cross country teams will open up the 2005 season Saturday morning as they take part in the Spartanburg Eye Opener Invitational. The men’s race begins at 8:00 am before the women start at 8:15.

After the race in Spartanburg, the Blue Hose will travel to Greenwood, S.C. next Saturday to compete in the Lander University Invitational.

The following week, PC will take part in the Winthrop University Invitational on September 17^th before venturing to Florence S.C. for the Francis Marion University Meet on September 24^th.

On September 30^th, the Blue Hose will host the Blue Hose Meet before ending the regular season at the Erskine College Meet on October 13^th.

The South Atlantic Conference Championships will take place on October 22^nd in Greeneville, TN on the campus of Tusculum College before the NCAA Division II Regionals at Wingate, NC on November 5^th.

Second-year head coach Stephanie Allen returns five letterwinners off last year’s squad, while the women’s team returns seven letterwinners from last year.
