Six other schools in the field received votes in the Golf Coaches Association of America/Bridgestone Top 25 Coaches Poll including: Valdosta State University (16 votes), Georgia College & State University (11), Catawba College (6), host Presbyterian College (5), Lander University (3), and Clayton College and State University (1).

The rest of the field includes: Coker College, Barton College, North Greenville University, Lenoir-Rhyne College, and Tusculum College.

“We are really looking forward to getting started next week,” said Addison. ”This is a chance for us to get the spring season started in a positive manner and hopefully we can build on it for the rest of the season.”

The Blue Hose will play in tournaments for six of the next eight weeks starting with the PC Intercollegiate.

The teams will hold a practice round at Musgrove Mill on Sunday and then will open the tournament on Monday with the first tee time starting at 8:00 am.
