PC In Second At BMW Intercollegiate

First Round Results

GREENVILLE, SC – Presbyterian College is in second place after round one of the 12th Annual BMW Collegiate Golf Tournament at the par 72 Verdae Greens Golf Club.

Presbyterian shot a cumulative team round of 297.

The Blue Hose have three individuals in the top 10 led by Thomas Todd, who is tied for fourth place with two others after shooting an even par 72 in the first round.

Presbyterian’s Patrick Townes and Patrick Coleman are both tied for ninth place individually with two others after shooting 74s in the first round.

Anderson University shot an opening round score of 295 to take the lead after day one. Barton College (303) is in third, while Clayton State University (306), and Queens University (306) round out the top five.

Kurt Owings (Anderson) shot 70 to take the individual lead, while teammate Adam Sheriff shot 71 to share second place with Stephen Harrison (Barton).

Second round action will tee off beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
