PC's Townes Finishes Second Individually At Coker Invitational

Final Round Results

Orlando, Fla. – Presbyterian’s Patrick Townes concluded the second and final day of the 2nd Annual Coker College Invitational at the par-72 Orange County National Golf Course tied for second place overall individually

Townes carded a two-day total of 140 (70-70) to end the event as the highest Blue Hose finisher.

Ben Karns finished the first day tied for first after firing a three-under 69, but shot an 83 on the second day to finish tied for 64th.

As a team, Presbyterian ended the first day in second place with a cumulative total of 284, but faltered on day two after shooting a team round of 299 to end the event tied for eighth place with Lynn with a two-day final score of 583.

Valdosta State won the event with a two-round score of 572.
