Records Second Straight Top Five Team Finish

– Presbyterian picked up a two-day cumulative total of 896
to conclude the Johnny Palmer Intercollegiate at the par-72
Old North State Club in fifth place.
The top five finish is the second straight
for the Blue Hose, who ended the Kiawah Island Invitational
last Tuesday with a fourth-place showing
USC Upstate claimed its first-ever team title
as an NCAA school by carding a team score of 878, seven
shots better than second-place finisher Coastal Carolina.
Lander finished third after netting a two-round total of
889, followed by Lee (895), Presbyterian (896), UNC Pembroke
(897), Barton (899), Tusculum, Lenoir-Rhyne (908), Wingate
(914), host Pfeiffer (918), Mount Olive (918), Carson-Newman
(922), Queens (934), Greensboro (938), St. Andrews (947),
Catawba (967) and Southern Wesleyan (977).
