PC Men's Golf Schedule
CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College
Head Golf Coach Thomas Addison announced the 2007-2008 PC
Men’s golf schedule on Tuesday.
The Blue Hose will play in all NCAA
Division I tournaments in their upcoming campaign.
PC will compete in two tournaments
hosted by Big South Conference opponents as well as two
hosted by members of the Southern Conference.
PC will participate in the Radford
University Fall Invitational hosted by Big South Conference
foe Radford on Oct. 7-9. The dates of Oct. 21-23 take the
Blue Hose to Crowfield Plantation Golf Club in Charleston,
S.C. for the CSU Fall Invitational hosted by Big South
Conference member Charleston Southern.
Southern Conference member Furman
University will play host to the 39th Annual
Furman Intercollegiate on March 27.
Presbyterian will compete in the 2008
Vault Wofford Invitational in Spartanburg before vying for
the 2008 Big South Golf Championship in Greenwood, S.C. on
April 19-22.
Head Coach Thomas Addison sees the
challenge of playing NCAA Division I competition
encouraging.
“To have an all NCAA Division schedule
in your first year in NCAA Division I is rare,” noted
Addison, “but I feel we can step right in and compete.”
The Blue Hose men’s golf team ended its
time in NCAA Division II by winning its second South
Atlantic Conference Tournament crown in its final three
years. PC bowed out last season with a seventh place showing
at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional.
