Matt
Lindner, a
1998 graduate of Salisbury University, is entering his
first season as Presbyterian College’s assistant coach of the
men’s lacrosse team.
Lindner played lacrosse at
Salisbury graduating in 1998 with a bachelors of science in
Chemistry. He was also a founder and president of the
Salisbury’s men’s lacrosse club.
After college, Lindner
began his coaching career at Northeast High School in Anne
Arundel County in Maryland as an assistant coach.
After two years at Northeast, he accepted an assistant
coaching position at the Severn School as a JV assistant in
2002 and then in 2003 as the varsity assistant under Jaime
McNealy. In 2004, Lindner returned to Northeast for
his first head coaching position. That season, he led
the Eagles to the school’s first 2A/3A Regional
Championship.
Shortly after playing in
the Maryland State Semifinals, Lindner accepted a teaching
position as well as a head coaching position at Hilton Head
High School in South Carolina. In 2005, he took his
team to the SC State Championship and won the school’s
fourth consecutive state championship. Lindner
finished out the 2006 season at Hilton Head before accepting
the assistant coach position at PC. He will serve as
the defensive coordinator for the Blue Hose.

Jessica, reside in Greenville, S.C.
