PRESBYTERIAN'S KSHITIJ DWIVEDI NAMED SAC MEN'S TENNIS
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

HILL, S.C. –
Presbyterian College senior Kshitij Dwivedi
(New Delhi, India) has been named the South Atlantic
Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, announced league
officials on Tuesday.
Dwivedi earns Player of the Week honors for the second time
this spring.
Playing at the No. 2 singles and doubles positions, Dwivedi
was undefeated on the week and helped lead the No. 25 Blue
Hose to a 5-4 upset victory over No. 7 Armstrong Atlantic
State University.
In Presbyterian’s 9-0 win against North Greenville
University, Dwivedi downed Gintas Daniusevicius 6-2,
6-2. He teamed with Nick Osborne (Hutton Rudby,
England) for an 8-2 doubles win over the NGU tandem of
William Ho and Gabriel Altmayer.
Against No. 7 AASU, Dwivedi posted a 6-3, 6-3 win over the
nation’s 28th-ranked
player, Paul Bishop. He again paired with Osborne
for an 8-5 win against the AASU duo of Bishop and David
Secker.
The SAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week is selected by a
vote of the league's eight sports information directors.
