PRESBYTERIAN'S AARON CHAPMAN NAMED SAC MEN'S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Aaron Chapman of Presbyterian College has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week announced league officials on Tuesday. 

Chapman, a freshman from Mount Pleasant, Australia, led the Blue Hose to a pair of South Atlantic Conference victories last week.

In Presbyterian's 8-1 win over Catawba College, Chapman defeated Geoff Fouad 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.  Chapman and No. 1 doubles partner
Hector Rincon (London, England) defeated Jose Velazquez and Drew Ramsey, 8-5, in pro sets.

In a 9-0 win over Mars Hill, Chapman defeated Andrew Waldrop 6-0, 6-1 in singles and paired up with Rincon to post an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles.

The SAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week is selected by a vote of the league's eight sports information directors.
